“A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning, as if supported by the rays of the sun, a bird settled on the fire escape, joy in the task of coffee, joy accompanied me as I walked.” ~ Anais Nin
Leaves beginning to flutter here, too. We’re already seeing the colors begin to change in the maple trees. I think it’s going to be a very early fall….
I love fall–it’s my favorite time of year–so I hate to see it come so quickly, as that usually means it departs more quickly as well, but will just enjoy it for what it is in the days we’re given. Wishing you a lovely autumn, too, Bill. At least you don’t have the specter of a harsh winter hanging over your heads there in Texas–they’re making all sorts of awful noises about what we have to look forward to here in a few months. Sigh… At least we’ll be enjoying a bit of your TX sunshine with my family in TX at Thanksgiving… 😀

Interestingly enough that in south Texas leafs are beginning to drop. We have a beautiful red oak that is already dropping its leafs. Very early here.
