You’ll have whatever you’ll have

“Once you’re there, you’ll have what you need.

You’ll do great things and change the world.

But now, you’re so small and powerless.

At least that’s how it seems.

No matter where you are or how far you’ve traveled,

the world will always begin at your feet.

You’ll have whatever you’ll have.

You’ll need whatever you’ll need.

The question to ask is not “What will I be able to do once I’m there?”

It is, instead, “What am I able to do from here?”

Once you’re there, you’ll have to ask yourself that same question –

so why not get used to answering it now?”

These Are The Days

As I think about this day and what happened on 9/11/2001, we must never forget how preicous life is and that we are only here for a very short time in the scheme of things. Be well and take care, Bill

“These are the days of the endless summer
These are the days, the time is now
There is no past, there’s only future
There’s only here, there’s only now

Oh your smiling face, your gracious presence
The fires of spring are kindling bright
Oh the radiant heart and the song of glory
Crying freedom in the night

These are the days by the sparkling river
His timely grace and our treasured find
This is the love of the one magician
Turned the water into wine

These are the days of the endless dancing and the
Long walks on the summer night
These are the days of the true romancing
When I’m holding you oh, so tight

These are the days by the sparkling river
His timely grace and our treasured find
This is the love of the one great magician
Turned the water into wine

These are the days now that we must savor
And we must enjoy as we can
These are the days that will last forever
You’ve got to hold them in your heart.”

Create the life you have chosen to live

“Just because life has let you down doesn’t mean that you must let yourself down. Pick yourself up, quickly take a positive step, and know that you’re closer to reaching your goal than you’ve ever been before.

You’ve been through some of the hard part and already experienced some of the difficulty you must go through. So keep going, and make that experience count. Change your approach if that’s what is called for. Learn from where you’ve been, adapt and adjust your efforts to be even more effective.

Every day, every encounter, and every outcome is a new opportunity to move yourself forward. Keep yourself focused on the goal you’ve chosen, and keep yourself moving in the best way you know how. The disappointments are just as much a part of the process as the victories.

Be truly thankful for it all, and in your gratitude you’ll find a way to put it all to positive use. Whatever has happened is a perfect reason to keep going. Keep going, and create the life you have chosen to live.” ~ Ralph Marston

The Power of Words . . .Many Thanks!

Today, I have hit a milestone that I never expected would happen.  It’s been almost a year and a half since I started posting, and as of today, there have been 20,000 views of Dr Bill from wonderful individuals from over 100 countries  I am humbled.   As John F. Kennedy so aptly said . . . “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

My goal was to use this as a vehicle for influencing others to live a positive life and to make personal choices that were more “life-giving” than “life-taking.  Language is at its best when used to inspire others to find the best in themselves.

To all of you, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for following me.

The following video was one I posted some time ago and deserves to be presented again today . . .
