“Once you’re there, you’ll have what you need.
You’ll do great things and change the world.
But now, you’re so small and powerless.
At least that’s how it seems.
No matter where you are or how far you’ve traveled,
the world will always begin at your feet.
You’ll have whatever you’ll have.
You’ll need whatever you’ll need.
The question to ask is not “What will I be able to do once I’m there?”
It is, instead, “What am I able to do from here?”
Once you’re there, you’ll have to ask yourself that same question -
so why not get used to answering it now?”

Nice
Hi, I really like this poem. It makes me think of fully participating in the journey of life rather than focussing on some glorious end point, that may or may not be as anticipated. I especially love the image that you have coupled with this poem. Too often, especially in the midst of a crisis, it seems as if we are always climbing mountains and when you are at the bottom it can be overwhelming to think that we need to reach the top before we can fully appreciate life again. Your image is one of a much easier and more manageable path to follow….. and look at all the lovely autumn colours to admire along the way!
Thanks for this uplifting message
